We get to know all of our clients and residents on deeper levels. We don’t try and absolve or cure, but we attempt to maintain, strengthen and mend. We build independent profiles to monitor progress and set person-centred goals, targets and prescribition of exercise to fit their means.
Our group sessions enable us to involve the whole group and centre around keeping people moving.
Not a million miles per hour!
Just within their means in light activity that should be achievable by the group safely.
Breath work is undertaken every session to improve confidence in being out of breath and knowing how to bring the heart rate down.
It is also done to improve awareness which in turn can reduce unnecessary incidents from occurring when breathing increases.
Our sessions are set with a simple structure that is easily repeatable yet fresh for your residents.
The sessions are broken up into person-centred individual breakout sessions, breath coaching, and group session fitness. Each visit aims at building a profile for each of their needs and monitor their progress over the weeks and months.
We recommend weekly visits at twice a week, to allow for appropriate time with clients and the chance to complete an upper body and lower body session per week.
The iAM team is made centrally around Physios and Personal Trainers with unique CIMSPA CPD qualifications such as sports massage and working with people with long term conditions.
As a mobile service, to maximise the time spent with residents, the amount of equipment is reduced to simply: phone apps, yoga blocks, grip trainers, postural aids, massage guns, bpm/o2 monitors, and resistance bands.
We are fully mobile to travel and operate within the Mid Sussex area. With Private residencies, we form a relationship with the homes and work to suit them. We are flexible and listen to your concerns.

Caring is notoriously a taxing profession and being able to provide periods of rest for staff can allow for more content within the staff, a chance to change sheets, and do the list of tasks that need doing without the additional restraints of dealing with residents
Something to look forward to, breaking up the week. Whilst good for the clients physical health, it can be great for mental health providing something to remember, adds to a schedule and routine.
The Care Quality Commission provides higher ratings for homes that provide person centred care plans
